Found this artist, Sonya Fu, when I stumbled upon a post about one of her exhibits.

I’m drawn to slightly creepy, ethereal artworks with intense depth; where there’s lots of emotion going on beneath the surface but you can’t quite guess at what those emotions are. I’d definitely say her work embodies all these things.

She’s local too (from/lives in Hong Kong) which is pretty cool.
